The wanted girl by Fiona Phiri

A long time ago; there once lived a beautiful and caring woman. She was loved by many people, one in particular was the prime minister of America. He loved her so much that he married and they became the most famous and loved couple in America.

The prime minister was the envy of many men and this was no secret. Everyone could see it, they could see it in the jealous looks that were flashed at him. They could see it from the hate mail and death threats he had received from obsessed stalkers.

Even with all this chaos surrounding their union, the prime minister never let it affect them. He never told her about the death threat and the incidents. He didn’t want her to know; he wanted her to be completely free of worry and anxiety.

It was because of her unawareness that the tragic incident happened. It was a warm sunny Saturday afternoon and she had just finished preparing their lunch when her husband’s bodyguard had walked into the kitchen and had tried to come onto her.

She let out a loud scream as he had grabbed her. Just then the prime minister came bursting into the kitchen alarmed by her scream. He rushed over to where they were standing and tried to apprehend the bodyguard but he violently pushed him aside and he stumbled and hit his head at the edge of the sink and slipped to the floor, his skull cracked open by the impact.

“Oh my gosh, you killed him” she wailed. The bodyguard looked at her with frightened eyes. He had just killed the prime minister and his wife was a witness to the crime. He grabbed the gun which he always carried and aimed it at her before he pulled the trigger.

He then aimed the gun to his temple and then pulled the trigger. His final thought had been how stupid he had been to have wanted her so much that he had caused all their deaths.

  1. Everything is ok save for poor flow of the story and lack of some dialogue in it!
